Description
Civic, neutral and open source app for the 2027 French presidential election (iOS, Android, Web). Users rate candidate proposals blindly, without knowing who said what, then compare their agreement with each candidate and check their actual votes in Parliament. 100% local: no account, no server, no telemetry.
- 🗳️ Blind voting: anonymous proposals rated on 5 levels (Impossible, Against, Neutral, For, Perfect), shuffled so the same candidate never appears twice in a row
- 📊 Agreement score: ranking shown as identical numbered election boards, ties broken at random, unlocked after 10 votes
- ⚖️ Real votes in Parliament: 26 verified ballots (National Assembly, Senate, European Parliament), separating individual votes from group positions
- 🔎 Data transparency: 96 proposals from 17 candidates, each quoted word for word with its official source and a stable reference, validated at build time with Zod
- 🔐 Local-first: votes stored on the device only (SQLite on native, localStorage on the web), no third-party font or request
- 🌐 Astro showcase site on GitHub Pages and an "annotated notebook" visual identity: paper, ink and a yellow highlighter reserved for the user's opinions
Project Impact
ÉLIRE helps every voter form their own opinion on the programs, without algorithms or pressure: a measure is judged before knowing who stands behind it, then promises are compared with actual votes. Neutrality and privacy are guaranteed by design (local computation, public sources, open code), not just by a promise.
