Unidentified Aerial Phenomena: How to Officially Report a UAP/UFO in France (GEIPAN / CNES)

In France, GEIPAN (CNES) is the official body mandated to collect and study Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP). Reporting a UAP is a legitimate scientific act.

3-step procedure: 1. Notes (time, GPS, weather, duration). 2. Unaltered captures with EXIF metadata. 3. Form at cnes-geipan.fr.

4 classification levels (A-D). Only 2-3% remain unexplained (Class A). Collaboration with French gendarmerie, Météo-France and DGAC.

Document first, then report at cnes-geipan.fr.
